Statement from Elyssa:
Have you been feeling misunderstood, having trouble controlling your emotions, or feeling rejected by others? Maybe you are feeling tired of doing the same things over and over again with no change. My approach to therapy is to validate and encourage you while also being direct and honest. I provide a stable and safe environment for people to explore and overcome their current and past challenges by being compassionate and nonjudgemental. My goal as a therapist is to work together to create clear change in your life with specific, evidence-based, skills. I believe there is no set way of doing therapy and that no two people are alike. We will work together to find an individual approach to facing your challenges.
I specialize and am trained in working with people with Borderline Personality Disorder, complex trauma, anxiety, and depression. I also have expertise in working with addictions of all types. I have a personal passion for this work, as I have lived experience with each of these issues. This also allows me to have a unique, empathetic approach to providing therapy.
I will utilize validation and compassion, while also holding you accountable to your goals. Whatever it is that you're facing, change is possible and we can work together to find an individual approach to facing your challenges. My ultimate goal is to empower you toward becoming independent in managing your own emotions and challenges effectively.
I use a combination of therapy techniques, primarily DBT and EMDR to fit your specific needs as an individual. In our first session, we will discuss different options for treatment and decide together what you feel is best for you. I also offer group therapies and coaching for support between sessions on applying skills to create change.

Statement from Kristi:
Hello! My name is Kristi Clews, and I am a Master of Social Work student at Grand Canyon University, currently completing my clinical training. I recently completed an internship at the OCD Anxiety Center in Bountiful, Utah, where I worked with individuals experiencing OCD, generalized anxiety, social anxiety, panic disorder, body dysmorphic disorder, and PTSD.
During this time, I gained hands-on experience in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills coaching, Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), and group facilitation. I love working with all ages and creating collaborative treatment plans that help clients achieve challenging goals and work toward living the lives that they want to live.
My approach is grounded in empathy, respect, and collaboration. I believe that healing begins when clients feel heard and supported, and I strive to create a safe and welcoming space where clients can explore their struggles and build resilience.
Outside of my work, I’m a mom of four, a proud Gryffindor, and a lover of books, laughter, and time outdoors. Whether I’m hiking with my two dogs or enjoying a quiet moment to read, I value balance and joy in everyday life—something I encourage in my clients as well.
